welcome, spring

so its officially spring now, but you wouldn't know it, by the snow on the ground here in chicago. i woke up to snow friday morning, and then throughout the day watched it rain, sleet, and snow some more. and for the first time in my weather widget watching career, i saw these weather conditions, with the exception of the clouds - i've seen that a few times before. and by a few i mean mostly every day.
