i have some big news for you folks. I GOT A JOB. not only did i get a job, but i got TWO job offers on the same day; the publisher and the eye clinic. needless to say i took the job with the publisher, seeing as that has been a dream of mine, to work for a publisher.
my job title is production artist, and basically that means i'll be doing book interiors; placing, formatting, etc. its not the most exciting work in the world, but regardless, i am so thankful for this position, and the opportunity to work at a publisher!
now that i have my job all set, and i don't start until january 2, i can pack up my car and head to pittsburgh, to spend christmas with my parents, and help them settle into their new house. ahh, it feels so good to be able to look forward to starting a new job, after i enjoy the holidays.

question regarding former blog post...how does one break a french press? I am mystified...I know you don't have luck technology...has this stretched to household appliances as well? hehe
